Wikimania
I would love to go to Wikimania, August 2006, but can't make it to Boston. I'm in Sydney for August, but I'll be in S.E. Asia (maybe Thailand or Indonesia, but I can adjust my plans) later in 2006, so if something's happening there, I'm keen to join in. Indonesia is my preferred option, as I speak the language and can also get involved with discussion on the Indonesian Wikipedia.

Not doing much here, as my main activity is at Wikipedia and Appropedia.
I do keep an eye on:

- Other green/social stuff - see the Development and Sustainability WikiNode
- Sca21
- Renewable Energy Design Wikia
- Personals Wikia
- A wiki-based blog. Notes:
- See Blog:Home & Blog:How do I add a new blog entry? for some ideas on how it can work).
- Blogging isn't about personal blogs, so do we need a new Wikia to look at this topic? (Someone gave me a good answer on this, to the effect that each Wikia has its own guidelines and some may allow blogs. Can't find where that answer was, though... or did I dream it?)
- Brettz9 & and Nyarlathotep are also interested in a wikiblog.
- Interesting blog sites (from my perspective) to take note of are: Kuro5hin, Not Even Wrong & LiveJournal.
- Wikiversity at Wikibooks. My main contribution, though, will be by developing articles at Wikipedia which can then be used as source material for Wikiversity.
